Fall 2007 Super Computer Cluster
The HIPERC (High Performance Computing) Student Club is building a portable mini-cluster. We based our supercomputer cluster design on `Joel Adams and Tim Brom’s ‘MicroWulf’ supercomputer prototype at Calvin College. Super computers carry out high-level mathematical computations, execute large, cutting-edge programs in areas of artificial intelligence such as face recognition and even control robots.
